About this artwork

Am Sande is Lüneburg's great elongated market square, some 225 metres long, ringed by the stepped, curved and triangular gables of red-brick patrician houses built from the salt trade's wealth. At its west end stands the black-and-white glazed-brick Schütting of 1548, and at the east end rises the 108-metre spire of St Johannis, the salt town's Brick Gothic hall church.

Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
