About this artwork
Built in 1448/49, the round castle tower is the surviving keep of Plau's former castle at Burgplatz, in the middle of the town at the western shore of the Plauer See. The fortress around it was demolished centuries ago; today the tower and the neighbouring exhibition house form the town's castle museum.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
