About this artwork
The Ellinger Tor is the showpiece of Weißenburg's medieval defences, a five-storey gate tower flanked by twin turrets with domed caps, once well known enough to appear on a German postage stamp. The town wall ring, with its many watchtowers, survives largely intact around the old town.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
