About this artwork
Forchheim, an old Frankish royal town first named in Charlemagne's capitulary of 805, keeps a moated half-timbered centre around the Kaiserpfalz, the Bamberg prince-bishops' town castle built from 1377 under Bishop Lambert von Brunn. Its almost square palace, some thirty-five by forty metres with two-metre walls, is among the best-researched castles of its period and now houses the Pfalzmuseum.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
