About this artwork
The great boulevard runs east between the tiled workers' palaces of the 1950s, its tree-planted central reservation drawing the eye to the twin domed towers of Frankfurter Tor. Built as Stalinallee in the socialist classicist style, the avenue's ceramic-tiled façades, balconies and relief panels were meant to give ordinary housing a palace front. Renamed for Karl Marx in 1961, it remains one of Europe's most imposing surviving monuments of that era's city building.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
