About this artwork
Greifswald's market square is one of the finest Hanseatic squares on the Baltic, lined with the red town hall and ornate brick Gothic gabled houses such as Markt 11 and 13. Behind the rooftops rises the tall tower of St Nikolai cathedral, the 'long Nicholas', in the town where Caspar David Friedrich was born and baptised.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
