Naval memorial, Laboe
From the wet stone terrace in driving rain at night, the camera looks up at the Laboe naval memorial's 72-metre curved brick tower — the flame-like monolith dominates the center against a rain-streaked dark sky, with the dark water of the Kiel Fjord and faint shore lights to the right and rain-pocked reflective paving in the foreground.

About this artwork
From the wet stone terrace in driving rain at night, the camera looks up at the Laboe naval memorial's 72-metre curved brick tower — the flame-like monolith dominates the center against a rain-streaked dark sky, with the dark water of the Kiel Fjord and faint shore lights to the right and rain-pocked reflective paving in the foreground. The 01:00 rain-shower scenario keeps the tower nearly unlit, wet surfaces glistening. Notable: the tower's iconic curved silhouette, often likened to a ship's stem or a submarine conning tower, is the unmistakable landmark of the coastal memorial.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
