About this artwork

The Todtnau Waterfall near Aftersteg is a different waterfall from Triberg's: here the Stübenbach stream drops ninety-seven metres over five granite steps in dark southern Black Forest conifer forest. Its main step, about sixty metres, is the highest single drop of any waterfall in Germany's low mountain ranges, fed from the thirteen-hundred-and-eighty-six-metre Stübenwasen. The falls have been a protected natural monument since nineteen eighty-seven, reached by forest paths and small footbridges.

Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
