About this artwork
Nördlingen stands inside the Nördlinger Ries, a meteorite crater some fifteen million years old, and keeps Germany's only completely intact town wall with a fully walkable covered parapet, a circuit of about two point seven kilometres begun in 1327. At its centre rises the late Gothic hall church of St. Georg, built 1427 to 1505, whose ninety-metre suevite tower, the 'Daniel', is still staffed by resident watchmen.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
