About this artwork
Wertheim Castle is one of Germany's largest stone castle ruins, a red-sandstone complex of the twelfth century on a narrow spur where the Tauber flows into the Main. Seat of the Counts of Wertheim until the seventeenth century, it was wrecked by a powder explosion and Thirty Years' War shelling; its slender keep, about twenty-five metres high, still watches over the old town's lanes in the angle between the two rivers.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
