About this artwork
Paulinzella was a Benedictine abbey founded in the early 12th century, and the roofless walls of its Romanesque abbey church still stand in a quiet forest clearing. The long nave arcade, west front and choir end survive as one of the most evocative monastery ruins in the Thuringian Forest.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
