About this artwork
The Upper Castle crowns the Schlossberg rock high above Greiz and the White Elster valley, on a site fortified since the Middle Ages. Long the residence of the princes of Reuss, its stacked pale buildings and steep slate roofs now house a museum telling the town's history.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
